YieldOptions – Belize regulator warns against the broker

Auteur :

The International Financial Services Commission of Belize (IFSC) just warned investors against YieldOptions. On its website, the financial regulator added YieldOptions to its broker blacklist and warned investors against fraudulent information displayed on the broker’s website. YieldOptions, which is a brand operated by HSBO Capital, claims to be regulated by the Samoa International Financial Authority. After further investigation from the Belize regulator, it appears that this trading licence is fake. As a result, YieldOptions is not authorised to provide financial derivative instruments and other securities in the region. The IFSC warns with regards to this to take note and exercise extreme caution with this binary options broker.

YieldOptions is not regulated

The Belize regulator warned that the trading licenced number IFSC/60/241/TS/14 carrying the HSBO Capital name was fraudulent. As such, investors trading with YieldOptions will not be able to benefit from the protection tools provided by the relevant financial regulator. We don’t know if YieldOptions is also trying to attract clients in Europe but we recommend you to exercise an extreme caution with the broker. The broker’s website is available in multiple European languages, which seems to indicate that the broker is also operating in Europe. We were not able to find any information regarding the regulation of the broker in Europe. Neither YieldOptions nor HSBO Capital are included in the trading licensing register of the CySEC. We thus believe that the broker is not regulated and authorised to provide its trading services in Europe.
